Hiyve Update: Live Alerts, Guest Co-Pilot, and Meeting Stability

Over the past few days, we’ve shipped important improvements focused on real-time AI reliability, live meeting awareness, and overall session stability. These updates ensure that Hiyve intelligence features work consistently when you need them most - during live sessions.

Below is a high-level overview of what’s new and improved.

Live AI Meeting Alerts (New)

We have introduced real-time meeting alerts to help surface important moments as they happen.

What’s new:

  • Automatic alerts for action items, decisions, questions, and concerns

  • Quiet, non-disruptive notifications during live meetings

  • Adjustable alert sensitivity and types

  • Optional sharing of alerts with participants

Why it matters:
Important moments don’t get missed, even when conversations move fast.

Guest Access to AI Copilot

Guests can now use the AI Copilot during live meetings, giving everyone access to real-time intelligence—not just the host.

Whether someone joins late or wasn’t part of earlier discussions, they can immediately get context and ask questions without interrupting the flow of the meeting.

What’s new:

  • Guests can interact with the AI Copilot during live sessions

  • Late joiners can quickly catch up on what’s already been discussed

  • Ask questions like “What decisions have been made?” or “What did I miss?” in real time

  • Full access to live AI capabilities, including insights, summaries, and context-aware queries

Why it matters:
Meetings no longer punish late arrivals or external participants. Everyone can get up to speed instantly, stay aligned, and contribute meaningfully—without slowing the conversation down.

Audio-Only Mode for Lighter Sessions

You can now run meetings in audio-only mode with a cleaner, more intentional experience.

What’s new:

  • Dedicated audio-only support in device settings

  • Improved handling when video is disabled

  • Better performance in low-bandwidth environments

Why it matters:
Perfect for quick check-ins, background collaboration, or bandwidth-constrained situations.

Cleaner In-Meeting Experience

We’ve tightened up the live meeting experience to reduce accidental disruptions.

Improvements include:

  • Navigation and menu actions are disabled during live sessions

  • Improved stability for longer-running rooms

Better Visibility Into Activity & Resources

We’ve made it easier to review what happened during and after sessions.

What’s improved:

  • Recordings are now easier to find and reference

  • Attached files open in a dedicated viewer overlay

  • Activity logs are clearer and more consistent

Performance, Security, and Stability Improvements

Behind the scenes, we shipped several important upgrades:

  • Faster, more reliable transcription syncing

  • Improved handling under high usage

  • Security updates to protect session and recording access

These changes improve reliability without requiring any action on your part.

Bug Fixes & Polish

We also addressed several issues that improve day-to-day use, including:

  • Better event cleanup in live video rooms

  • Fewer edge-case stability issues

  • Improved overall session consistency
